Interferential Therapy Unit LCS - 150 ECO

Interferential Therapy (IFT) : Interferential therapy delivers two medium-frequency currents that intersect in deep tissue to reduce pain, relax muscle spasm and stimulate muscle contraction. Penetrating more comfortably than conventional TENS, an IFT machine is often the treatment of choice when other electro-therapy methods are ineffective or contraindicated. In modern physiotherapy clinics it is routinely paired with ultrasound, therapeutic exercise and manual techniques to accelerate recovery, clear edema and restore functional movement.
LCS150 ECO – Compact Digital IFT & Combo StimulatorDesigned for space-conscious clinics, the LCS 150 ECO puts three electro-therapy modalities—interferential, Russian and diadynamic currents—into a compact 1.2 kg package. A single rotary encoder with push-knob lets you scroll and set every parameter, while the six-key membrane pad offers instant shortcuts to programmes and channels. This dual-control layout means therapists can work entirely by knob, buttons, or a mix of both—whatever feels fastest.

Key Clinical Benefits
- Rapid analgesia for acute & chronic musculoskeletal pain
- Passive muscle exercise and spasm reduction via rhythmic contractions
- Enhanced local circulation for faster edema clearance
- Comfortable stimulation even at higher intensities thanks to medium-frequency carrier
- Avoid use over pacemakers or cardioverter-defibrillators
- Contra-indicated on the abdomen & pelvis during pregnancy
- Do not treat over malignant tissue or active infection sites
- Use caution in areas with impaired sensation; monitor patient feedback
- Real-time output-feedback circuit senses the patient’s skin impedance; if leads disconnect or impedance spikes, current drops to zero instantly.
- Automatic compensation keeps the therapeutic output stable throughout the session.
- One-touch Probe-Test flag(s) faulty cables or pads see a live demo at the 10 : 10 mark of our video.
- 1. What conditions respond best to interferential therapy?
- Low-back pain, knee osteoarthritis, post-operative edema, shoulder impingement and cervical spondylosis.
- 2. How is IFT different from TENS?
- IFT uses two medium-frequency currents that interfere inside the tissue, producing a deeper, low-frequency beat—more comfortable and penetrative than conventional TENS.
- 3. Is the LCS-150ECO certified for clinical use?
- Yes. It is manufactured in an ISO 13485 facility and registered with CDSCO (India).
- 4. How often should the unit be calibrated?
- Every 12 months or 1,000 operating hours—whichever comes first.
- 5. Where can I find more tutorials?
