A manual tilt table adjusting from 0 to 90 degrees, with a tabletop 61 cm x 195 cm long at 80 cm high, on heavy-duty 35 mm steel tube legs with 10 cm diameter wheels. Three straps secure the patient and two gripping handles are fitted.

Tilt tables bring a patient towards standing in controlled stages rather than all at once. Working through the angle gradually lets the cardiovascular system adapt to being upright again after a long period lying down, which is what makes the graded range the important feature rather than the maximum.
